While waiting for one of the weddings in Saigon to happen, we made a day-trip to the town of Vung Tau nearby. Vung Tau to Saigon is what Bintan or Batam are to Singapore: a place where people go for the weekend to do nothing. It has a beautiful harbour, mellow hills and doll-house hotels. Only in our case, it rained.
